Resistivity of DyNi3and HoNi3amorphous alloys

Abstract
The authors have measured the resistivity of DyNi3 and HoNi3 amorphous thin films between 1.2K and 290K. They find that the magnetic ordering at low temperature results in a definite increase of the resistivity. It is shown that this positive contribution from magnetic ordering to the resistivity can be ascribed to coherent exchange scattering by neighbouring magnetic ions.
