Abstract
Electron spin resonance spectroscopy has been used to investigate radiation damage in irradiated single crystals of cytosine grown from both water and deuterium oxide. At least three radicals are produced by the radiation and two of these species have been identified as: The yield of the second species is about ten times that of the first.Keywords
