Abstract
Tetragonal domain structure of SrTiO3 is studied at 2 °K under uniaxial stresses along [001] and [110] directions. A single‐domain crystal with [001] tetragonal axis is obtained by compressively stressing along [110] and is confirmed by Cr3+ fluorescence. Only domains with axis along [100] and [010] are observed under [001] stress. Keywords
