Separation of Molecular Species of Higher Glycolipids by High Performance Liquid Chromatography of Their O-Acetyl-N-p-Nitrobenzoyl Derivatives

Abstract
O-Acetyl-N-p-nitrobenzoyl derivatives of glucosylceramide, lactosylceramide, trihexosylceramide, globoside, and hematoside (N-acetyl type) were separated into their molecular species on the basis of their fatty acid compositions by high performance liquid chromatography using a reversed phase column.
