Abstract
2,9-Dithia-1-phosphabicyclo[4.3.0]nona-3,7-diene 1-sulfides have been prepared by the reaction of α,β unsaturated ketones with P4S10 in the presence of NEt3. 1,2-Thiaphosphole 2-sulfides generated by the thermolysis of the phosphabicyclo compounds underwent cycloaddition reactions with acrylonitrile, styrene, butyl vinyl ether and norbornene to give the [4+2]cycloadducts, respectively.Keywords
