LEAF-WRINKLE, A NUTRITIONAL DISORDER OF SOY BEAN

Abstract

An injury to soybeans involving the leaf-tips of young leaves which later become much wrinkled on expansion is described and illustrated. The injury is produced by the nutrient solution, and is most severe in low N, high K, low Ca solutions. The relation of Ca, Mg, K, and N seems to be concerned in producing the injury.
