GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF SIX GENERATIONS OF THYMECTOMIZED ALBINO RATS

Abstract
Thymectomy on the 21st day of life in 6 successive generations of albino rats did not alter the rate of growth in [male][male] or [female][female]. Furthermore, in none of the developmental events studied was there any departure from normal time of occurrence. In all, 69 [male][male] and 60 [female][female] were thymectomized, while 124 [male][male] and 139 [female][female] were studied as controls.
