Branching Ratios forY1*(1755)

Abstract
A study of the reactions KpΛπ0, K¯N, Σ±π, Y1*(1385)±π, and Y0*(1520) π0 has been made and the fraction proceeding through the formation of Y1*(1755) estimated. The total Y1*(1755) resonant cross section is found to ge 12.5±1.2 mb and the resonant cross sections into Λπ0, K¯N, Y1*(1385)π, Y0*(1520)π0, and Σ±π are 2.2±0.17, 6.7±1.0, 1.7±0.6, 1.85±0.22, and Y1*(1755) cannot be a member of {10}, {10}*, and {27} SU(3) multiplets. The results are consistent with assigning Y1*(1755) to an {8} with a mixing parameter α such that 0.3<α<0.1.
