Abstract
Photoionization cross sections for the subshells of Ba and have been calculated in the Hartree-Fock approximation with and without inclusion of relaxation effects. Use has also been made of the geometric mean between length and velocity results. The present calculations are compared with previous calculations and with results of experiments.
