A solitary echinococcus cyst, measuring approx. 6.5 X 8 cm. is reported from the left ventricle of the heart of an adult white [female]. Roentgenograms and electrocardiograms are shown. The literature of cardiac involvement in echinococcosis is briefly reviewed.
