Abstract
Bleaching of isolated tumors in concentrated NaOH, and in 0.3% oxalic acid after 24 hr. treatment with 0.1% KMnO4 is regarded as positive proof of the melanin nature of Drosophila tumor-sheath pigments.Keywords
