Abstract
In spite of the very common occurrence of vaginal candidiasis in pregnant women (1), the uterus is seldom affected. There are few reports in the literature of intrauterine infection. The present paper presents a case of placental and fetal candidiasis in association with the presence of an intra-uterine contraceptive device (IUD).Keywords
