Precise SU(5) Predictions for sin2θWexp, mW, and mZ

Abstract
Radiative corrections to ν-induced neutral-current scattering are computed for an arbitrary G[SU(3)]c[SU(2)]LU(1). Application to the Georgi-Glashow SU(5) model with a single superheavy mass leads, for ΛMS (the mass scale of quantum chromodynamics) = 0.4 GeV, to the precise predictions sin2θW(νμ;l)(0)=0.2104 for νμ-lepton scattering at q2=0 and sin2θW(ν;h)(20 GeV2)=0.2098 for deep-inelastic ν-hadron scattering. This result, together with our previous radiative corrections to mWsinθW, gives the SU(5) predictions mW=84.36 GeV and mZ=94.91 GeV.
