Abstract
A simple method is described for direct isolation and identification of both vegetative and spore forms of C. welchii from contaminated material. Other anaerobes do not grow on the plates (blood agar in Varney''s phosphorus jars) and incubation at 45[degree] C. is used to inhibit growth of B. coli, etc. Much higher counts were obtained than by other methods. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
