Abstract
The field relationships and textural and mineralogical features of basic syenites, ultrabasic rocks and dolomites associated with leucocratic syenites in the Loch Ailsh intrusion demonstrate that both basic syenites and ultrabasic rocks are the products of reaction between dolomite and syenite. Keywords
