Bracing of a Complicated Delayed-union Femoral-shaft Fracture

Abstract

This article describes a long leg brace which was designed to provide both access to a draining wound and sufficient skeletal stabilization to a delayed union of a femoral fracture in order to subject it to full weight bearing.
