Nalidixic Acid and Lactic Acidosis

Abstract
A fatal case of lactic acidosis associated with nalidixic acid therapy is reported. Studies in normal volunteers showed drug related impairment of lactate metabolism. The drug should be avoided in patients who may accumulate the drug or be predisposed to lactic acidosis.This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
