Abstract
Examination was made on the in vitro change in the metabolism of 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) on uracil addition. 5-FU was mainly phosphorylated in intact [rat] Yoshida sarcoma cells; it was mainly degraded in liver slice. Uracil inhibited degradation of 5-FU much more than its phosphorylation. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
