Polymorphism of vitamin B12 [57Col binding proteins in rabbit serum

Abstract
When rabbit serum labeled with vitamin B12[57Co] was subjected to starch gel electrophoresis and autoradiography, 3 protein phenotypes capable of binding vitamin B12 were observed. Family data revealed that these phenotypes (called TC-A, TC-AB and TC-B) are controlled by 2 codominant alleles (TCA and TCB), at an autosomic locus.
