Abstract
Intense stimulated emission (superradiance) is obtained in several high‐gain transitions of HF and DF molecules. The narrowing of the linewidths of the high‐gain transitions are observed in detail. Pulsed energy and peak powers are comparable with those obtainable in a similar transverse CO2 laser. Keywords
