Abstract
The distribution, habitat and cultivated and wild host-plants of the four species of Oxycarenus found in Ghana are given. O. hyalinipennis (Costa), primarily a savanna species, attacks the seeds of okra, kenaf and cotton; the other species are unlikely to attain pest status. A key to the species is given. Keywords
