Abstract
We have calculated the axial-vector charge radius, assuming that the low-momentum-transfer behavior of the vector and axial-vector form factors is not greatly affected by transitions between continuum states (all states besides the nucleon). Within its range of validity this method can also be used to obtain a closed expression for the axial-vector form factor in terms of static nucleon parameters. Keywords
