Abstract
I have two main differences with Greenwood's (1992) position as expounded in his paper. I find his account of scientific realism unsatisfactory and his criticisms of social constructionism directed too narrowly. In both cases the problems I have with his treatments of these important topics stem from his drawing on too restricted a diet of authors. Keywords
