Lifetimes of Hypernuclei,H3Λ,H4Λ,H5Λ

Abstract
Presented in this report are lifetime estimates for hypernuclei H3Λ, H4Λ, and H5Λ based upon data obtained from an emulsion stack exposed to 2.3- and 2.5-BeV/c K mesons. These lifetimes are: τ(H3Λ)=(0.90.4+2.2)×1010 sec (3 in-flight and one at-rest decays; H3ΛHe3+π); τ(H4Λ)=(1.80.7+2.5)×1010 sec (3 in-flight and 4 at-rest decays; H4ΛHe4+π); τ(He5Λ)=(1.40.5+1.9)×1010 sec (3 in-flight and 25 at-rest decays; He5ΛHe4+p+π). Also one decay in flight and nine decays at rest of He4ΛHe3+p+π were observed in a total estimated time of 1.50×1010 sec. Included in the observation times for
