Abstract
Polarized particles were stopped in spin-glass alloys CuMn and AuFe. A sharp onset of the relaxation of the muon's polarization was observed in the vicinity of the transition temperature and is interpreted as arising from the dipolar fields of frozen impurity moments. Increased temperature width of the transition in an applied magnetic field is observed as a broadening of the internal-field distribution, extending through the transition.
