Abstract
The results indicate that Phygon XL-50 and its active ingredient dichlone are unsuitable for use on flue-cured tobacco. Dichlone appears to have a preservative action on the leaves, thereby preventing respiratory degradation of chlorophyll. However, it may be beneficial in preventing oxidant-induced disorders in crops less dependent than tobacco on the disappearance of chlorophyll. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
