Excitation Function forNa22from Deuterons on Aluminum

Abstract

The cross section for the reaction ${\mathrm{Al}}^{27}(d, d\alpha n){\mathrm{Na}}^{22}$ has been determined as a function of deuteron energy in the energy range from 30 to 190 Mev. This reaction may be used for monitoring a high-energy deuteron beam.
