Abstract
It is assumed that the contributions of baryon Regge trajectories cancel in the imaginary parts of meson-baryon scattering amplitudes in states of the SU(3) representations 10* and 27. Predictions concerning interaction ratios, mass splitting, and particle mixing are made and compared with experiment. Keywords
