Abstract
Dinuclear complexes bridged by optically active diamines, [Pd2Cl2(SS-nbn)3]Cl2·4H2O (1) and [Pt2(en)2(SS-nbn)2]Cl4 (2) (SS–nbn = (2S,3S)–2,3–diaminobicyclo[2.2.1]heptane, en = ethylenediamine) were prepared and characterized by X-ray crystallography for 1. Pd(II) centers are square-planarly coordinated by Cl and three N of three bridging SS-nbn. Molecule 2 has been suggested to have two μ-SS-nbn and two chelating en.
