Abstract
Dyeing of acrylamidomethylated cellulose (AMC) with dyestuffs containing nucleophilic groups is studied. It is found that the presence of the pendant double bonds on AMC is advantageous in effecting concurrent dyeing and wash-wear finishing. The loss in tensile strength is minimal. Several interesting results relating to this novel pro cedure are reported. Keywords
