Abstract
Cu may be completely extracted wth trichloroacetic acid from liver, spleen, brain, and pancreas, and detd. directly in the extracts with Na diethyldithiocarbamate. This method is applied to the detn. of Cu in bone and milk. The values obtained for the Cu contents of human liver, spleen, kidney, pancreas, and brain agree with those obtained by other writers. Vertebrae contain very low concs. of Cu, while the concs. in ribs are highly variable. Liver and spleen contain high concs. of "inorganic" Fe, whereas kidney, brain, and pancreas contain very low cones. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
