Abstract
A filterable virus proven to be antigenically and immunologically identical with that of eastern equine encephalomyelitis virus was recovered from wild-caught specimens of mosquitoes (Mansonia perturbans). The infected pool of these mosquitoes was collected in Burke and Jenkins Counties, Georgia, during the summer of 1948.Keywords
