Abstract
Complications associated with coronary arteriovenous fistulae (CAVF) include congestive heart failure, bacterial endocarditis, fistula rupture, and angina secondary to the “coronary steal” phenomenon. Traditional treatment of large CAVF is surgical ligation. In this report, we describe a modified microcoil embolization and guidewire technique for percutaneous closure of CAVF.Keywords
