Abstract
Concentrations of CoA have been determined in the livers of lambs, adult sheep and rats, and have been expressed as amounts/unit wt. of tissue and amounts/DNA phosphorus. The concentration of CoA, either on a fresh-wt. basis or on amount/cell, assessed by the CoA:DNA phosphorus ratio, was higher in the liver of the adult sheep than in the young lamb. The concentration of CoA in the liver of the adult rat was higher than in the liver of the adult sheep. These findings have been discussed in relation to the intermediary metabolism of lambs, sheep and rats. This publication has 21 references indexed in Scilit:
