Abstract
A series of experiments are described in which alternating fields were used to investigate the properties of thermoremanent magnetization in a material with multidomain grains. Among other measurements, the distributions of blocking temperatures and coercive forces were determined for both partial and total thermoremanences acquired in various fields. A definite but non-linear relationship was found between blocking temperature and coercive force. The results are compared with those for single domains reported in an earlier paper.
