Abstract
Crystals of the complex, Nd(NO3)3–HO-(CH2CH2O)5H, are monoclinic. The Nd atom is coordinated by ten oxygen atoms, four from two bidentate nitrate ions and six from a pentaethylene glycol. The pentaethylene glycol forms a ring-like structure similar to that of crown compounds. Keywords
