Abstract
The conventional growth curve of several spp. of animals can be readily transformed to a straight line by plotting the length at each age on the x axis against the length at the next following age on the y axis. This method permits estimating the maximal length long before that length is approached. It also gives two parameters, which may be studied statistically to characterize races. Data for mollusks, fishes, and mammals are plotted in the pattern suggested. Keywords
