Abstract
The following vertebrates from the Ft. Logan formation are descr.: a new cervid genus and species, PRONODENS silberlingi, and 4 new merycoidodont spp., Eporeodon meagherensis, Mesoreodon danai, M. wheeled, and Cyclopidius loganensis. From the Deep River formation, a new erinaceid genus and sp., PARVERICIUS montanus; a new chelonian sp. Testudo copei; and 3 new merycoidodont spp. Promerycochoerus grinnelli, Promerycochoerus thorpei, and Cyclopidius quadratus, are described. Additional information is given in regard to 3 other Deep River spp.: Promerycochoerus montanus (Cope), Merychyus pariogonus Cope, and Cyclopidius simus Cope. By synonymy, the number of spp. of Cyclopodius from the Deep River formation is reduced to 3.This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
