Field-effect conductance ofLa2CuO4

Abstract
Field-effect mobility and conductance of La2 CuO4 single crystals as functions of temperature are presented. An analysis of the observed high field-effect mobility of La2 CuO4 (∼2 cm2/V s) indicates that the density of localized states near the surface is much smaller than in films of YBa2 Cu3 O6+δ studied previously.
