Untersuchungen über die intrazellulären Bakterien von Pelomyxa palustris Greeff

Abstract

Isolation, culture and cellulase demonstration. The organisms were identified and named Myxococcus pelomyxae and Bacterium paragelomyxae. The identity of these bacteria with the symbionts inliving animals was established serologically.
