Raman spectrum of the potassium salt of chloranil (2,3,5,6-tetrachloro-p-benzoquinone) radical anion

Abstract

The Raman spectrum of chloranil monovalent radical anion has been obtained; it is strikingly different from that of the parent compound, and some preliminary assignments are discussed.
