Abstract
The lowest energy spin arrangements in a body centered cubic crystal with first, second, and third nearest neighbor exchange interactions are given. The results may explain the experimental neutron diffraction pattern for chromium single crystals as observed by Corliss, Hastings, and Weiss. The susceptibility of the helical array is calculated. Keywords
