Abstract
Data obtained from immunochemical studies and the use of allelic variants support the hypothesis that the lactate dehydrogenase isozymes unique to the teleost nervous system are encoded in a third locus. Immunochemical and other studies demonstrate that this third locus is closely related to the lactate dehydrogenase B locus. Keywords
