Abstract
• Although the number of reported cases of papillary carcinoma of the thyroid in families is few, a review of the literature and the three cases presented here strongly suggest the characteristics of hereditary cancer. Further study and reportage of similar cases is indicated to confirm whether this is indeed a familial cancer. (Arch Surg 1981;116:836-837)Keywords
