Mycotic Infection of Brain with Arteritis and Subarachnoid Hemorrhage: Report of Case

Abstract

This is a report of the 5th case on record of possible Aspergillus infection of the brain. The primary site was the sphenoid sinuses extending into the cranium with acute arteritis of the right internal carotid artery and subsequent rupture and subarachnoid hemorrhage.
