Fomecin A and B obtained previously from the basidiomycete Fortiesjuniperinus Schrenk have been characterized as 6-hydroxymethyl-2,3,4-trihydroxy benzaldehyde and 2,3,4-trihydroxy o-phthalaldehyde, respectively.Keywords
