Abstract
The application of a reverse enzyme-immunoassay (REIA) to measure specific anti-egg IgE is described. The results obtained with the REIA and the RAST [radioallergosorbent assay] are shown. The REIA is economical, easy and fast to perform when the conjugate has been made, non-radioactive and offers a new alternative for the in vitro evaluation of egg white-specific IgE in the atopic patient. Keywords
