Hypercalcemia During the Diuretic Phase of Acute Renal Failure

Abstract

A case of hypercalcemia is presented which lasted for 10 days. A period of oliguria which lasted 19 days and of hypocalcemia which lasted no more than 22 days preceded the development of hypercalcemia. Hypercalcemia may be a hazard of the diuretic phase.
