Radioactivity ofPt191andPt193m

Abstract

A 3.2-day activity of ${\mathrm{Pt}}^{191}$ and a 4.5-day activity of ${\mathrm{Pt}}^{193}$ have been investigated. Electron-capture of ${\mathrm{Pt}}^{191}$ is followed by a complex spectrum of gamma-radiation. The 4.5-day ${\mathrm{Pt}}^{193m}$ activity is a characteristic $M4\mathrm{}$ isomeric transition of 135-kev.
