Abstract
This technic decreases the time required for MPS (mucopolysaccharide) testing, and per mits quantitative measurement of urinary MPS without the need for elaborate electrophoretic and chromato graphic equipment. The method, if supplemented by a differential chromato graphic study, helps identify specific fractions of the MPS components. These two screening methods are useful for confirmation of clinical diagnosis of various mucopolysaccharidoses. Keywords
